The Huron County Prevention Coalition is hosting a social media contest to bring awareness to Drug and Drunk Driving Prevention Month which occurs during December.
December is National Drug and Drunk Driving Prevention Month, a time to raise awareness of the consequences of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol. In 2019, over 28 million US residents—11.2 percent of all residents ages 16 and up—drove under the influence of alcohol or illicit substances at least once.
Students in all grades are encouraged to create videos, TikToks, or take pictures and post it to their social media of them bringing awareness to Drug and Drunk Driving Prevention Month. They can do these individually or in groups. Use the hashtags #hcpreventioncoalition #hcdrivesafe #drugprevention. If you would rather, you can send it to email@example.com
The first 20 submissions will receive a $5 gift card! The contest ends December 30, 2021.
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with questions!
